Event Update: Snowboarders & Skiers Welcome!
Mountain Excursions, led by Steve Hilmes - details @ lift ticket pick-up

Pastor Mark TumneyDear Friends at FPC,
I had an idea coming back from White Pass the other day. Wouldn't it be great if we invited the church to ski at White Pass and then closed the day by sharing a meal at Ghormley?
Well ... after a few phone calls, it looks like it's going to work out!

I would like to invite you, your family and friends up to White Pass for a final day of skiing this winter!

On Saturday, March 20, we'll simply meet up at the mountain and have a great day of skiing together. Then, on the way home, we'll all meet up at Ghormley for dinner at 5PM.  The details are listed below. Please know that this event is open both to FPC people and your friends. In fact, this would be a great way to connect someone relationally with our church family!

Finally, space for dinner is limited to what Ghormley can hold. So, please reserve your spot today.
To make things simple, we have created an electronic RSVP form. Simply click on the link above to go to our online RSVP form so that we can get an accurate count to Ghormley for dinner and snacks.

If you have any questions about this event, don't hesitate to contact our office at 248-7940. Looking forward to making one last ski run with you!

Pastor Mark

THE DETAILS:
Skiing:  Just in case you do not have a season pass, we have worked out a special deal with White Pass for a discounted lift ticket.  You can purchase a discounted lift ticket at the church office and at the Connection Center until Friday, March 19.  A lift ticket for adults is $39; tickets for juniors (ages 7-12) and senior adults (65-72) are $23. We're sorry, but we cannot offer discounted lift tickets the day of the event.

To collect your lift ticket, come to White Pass and look for us at a table near "Guest Services."  We will have someone at the table from 8:30AM-10:00AM who will offer you the lift tickets you reserved.  Should you arrive later than 10AM, you can collect your lift ticket(s) from the sales window where there will be a "First Presbyterian" list with your reservation on it.

Parents, please note that this is ski school weekend, so lessons are available.  Please make your own arrangements for ski school.  Please also make your own arrangement with the childcare services at White Pass, 672-3106.

If you're kids get tired of skiing, you're welcome to hang out at Ghormley where they will be serving snacks from 2-3:30PM.

Dinner and Snacks:  Dinner at Ghormley will be served at 5PM.  Cost for dinner is $9, kids ages 7-11: $5, and kids 6 & under are free. All money for dinner and snacks will be collected that day at Ghormley.
