Childcare

General Guidelines

Childcare Hours

Sundays 7:45am – 2:30pm  Reservations not needed
Monday - Friday 8:30 – 1:30am Reservations required 48 hours in advance
Wednesdays 6:00 – 8:30pm Reservations required 48 hours in advance, however new children are welcome without reservation!

Extended childcare may be accommodated with prior arrangement

 

Childcare Reservations:
Anyone who wishes to leave there child in childcare must make a reservation 48 hours prior to the event. This can be done in person in the childcare area or by calling 248-7940x117. You may also make your reservation by e-mail. To make childcare reservations, Call Monnie at 248-7940x117 or email Monnie@FPCYakima.com


Ages: childcare is provided for ages 3 months to Kindergarten

Group Childcare Requests:
All requests for childcare should be submitted for approval at the time the event is scheduled on the main church calendar.

Staff:
Paid staff will always be on the premises whenever childcare is provided. They are responsible for the major duties in care-giving (diapers, bathroom procedures, drop off, and pick-up).

Illness:
We do not provide childcare to children who have any visible signs of illness, including a runny nose with discolored discharge, runny eyes, loose continuous cough, diarrhea, or vomiting.

Hours

Childcare can be requested to be provided between 8:00am-8:00pm. Childcare offered is limited to a three hour block of time without a break (exceptions may be made depending upon circumstances.)

Nut-Free Zone
Due to common allergies, childcare is a nut-free zone.

Parents/Guardians Must Remain On site:
We are not a licensed facility. We cannot legally provide childcare for children whose parents are not on the premises. At least one parent must remain in the building while your child is in our care.

Connect

Volunteers:
Parents who use the childcare services are asked to be part of our volunteer schedule. Volunteers are helping hands for the paid staff.
