Sonbeams and Cubbies
This fall in the 2 ½ - 5 year old KidZone classes, children will learn to recognize that the Bible is God’s Word and that God loves and cares for us. Each lesson will actively engage every child in the Bible story, and lead them to experience God’s love and know Jesus. We teach the Bible in easy, relevant and creative ways that engage the imagination of children, transform lives, and lead children to Jesus. Our Sonbeams and Cubbies classes will see that they can learn about God’s love, know God loves them, and that they can show God’s love to everyone!
Kindergarten – 3rd Grade
Have you ever wondered what success looks like in the lives of children as we build prevailing children’s ministries? How do we know that our Bible teaching is effectively transforming kids from the inside out? What should we be working toward as children grow up spiritually in our ministry?
It only makes sense to measure our children’s ministry on a level appropriate for kids by developing kids that are transformed by grace, growth, group, gifts, and good stewardship…also known as the 5-G’s.
This fall as we kick off a new year of KidZone with our 5-G curriculum, we are asking Small Group Leaders to affirm and encourage children in their groups as they make progress in living out these 5-G’s. We dream of the day when each child will accept God’s gift of graceand it is just “normal” for every child to extend grace—to grow up with a passion for lost people and the knowledge that each one matters to God. We long for the day when children will grow their roots down deep in their spiritual journey being both hearers and doers of God’s Word. We eagerly wait for the day when children will be using their spiritual gifts to serve their churches, and where children will practice good stewardship – wanting to give sacrificially of their time and resources to help others. Our vision is to grow 5-G kids and then release them into their schools, families, and neighborhoods to impact their world with the power of Jesus Christ. top
4th & 5th Grade KidZone
This year the older KidZone are getting to know God, and who God is through Hands On Bible Max curriculum. This is where kids get into the Bible and the Bible gets into the kids! Every week we will explore God’s Word in large groups and small groups called Bible Crews. Worship and prayer will be responses to what we’ve learned. This curriculum is intended to help kids build a deep and lasting friendship with God through the Bible. Kids will grow in amazing ways as they dig into the Bible, experience its truths, and apply those truths to their lives. |
