Dear Families,
What a wonderful time we are having at VBS! I hope your conversations at home with your child have been good.  Here are a few questions for Tuesday:

1. What was the Bible point and verse today?
Bible Point:  God's Word is comforting!
Bible Verse:  "Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles."  Psalm 119:50

2. What do you say every time you hear the Bible point?
Let's Go!

3. When you are sad or angry where do you go for comfort and why?
God, family, friends, and Bible.  Because the Bible always speaks to me there, telling me that I am loved.

4.Why is it important for you to know that God's Word is comforting?
Because they can turn to the Bible in hard times and learn to seek God when they are hurting.

VBS doesn't end on Friday! Join us this Sunday the 27th for more VBS fun during the 9:30 worship service.  VBS kids & families of all ages are invited to attend!

Great Job bringing all that Beef Jerky for the Yakima Firefighters! Remember Wednesday's Survivor Challenge is to bring granola/energy bars.

To help you with your conversation, here are the main points from today:
Bible Point - GOD'S WORD IS COMFORTING! - LET'S GO
Bible Story - God comforts Paul in a storm at sea. (Acts 27)
Bible Verse - “Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles.” (Psalm 119:50)
