Welcome To Prayer & Care

“God’s Spirit is on me; he’s chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor,

sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the

burdened and battered free, to announce, ‘This is God’s year to act!’”  Luke 4:8

First Presbyterian Church is a church of prayer and we consider it an honor to pray with you and others.  We have a team who prays intercessory prayers every Sunday while services are in progress and a prayer ministry team who will pray with those who are in need after each Sunday service.  We also have a prayer chain where a team of people are waiting to pray for you during a time of crisis.  Each week we have a prayer letter which is distributed throughout the congregation.  Every Wednesday from 12 noon to 1:00 P.M. we open our sanctuary for anyone who wants to pray.  Everyone, individually or as a group are invited to spend the whole hour or just a few minutes in the sanctuary in prayer.  So welcome to God’s house in conversation with Him.
